Girls Night Out

We had a pretty fun week. I have been loving the warm weather. Scott is now done with school for the summer and I am way excited. I have lots of Honey-Do's for him!:)

So we got Scotlyn some new movies. She loves watching tv so we thought that we should have her watch something good. Aside from these movies, we do watch Ellen together pretty much everyday! (beside the point!) So we got her some Baby Einstein movies and Signing Time. This picture is of her watching it. She is soo interested! She cracks me up.

Speaking of craking up this is her doing just that. I can't get the movie to upload but she was pretty much belly laughing!! So funny. I love this little lady.

Thursday night we had a girls night out. It was so much fun. All of us neighborhood girls got together. We have all grown up together for as long as I can remember. It was a blast to catch up with everyone. We went to Kari's and saw her new beautiful home. Thanks for letting us crash there Kar. And now I am going to take it upon myself to update everyone on Shauna! She won't get a blog herself so I told her I was going to do this....... She just recently graduated this month!!! YAY! Congrats to you Shaun. She also just welcomed her new little nephew to the world. His name is Tag and he is darling. There are so many exciting things going on with her, she really needs to get on the whole blog train!( Sorry Shaun I just had to do it!!)
So it was Kari, Shauna,Bethel,Pyp and me. We are total nerds in these pics, just goes to show not that much has changed. Thanks ladies to a fabulous evening. I love getting together with you guys. We missed you Sheri, we hope you can come join the fun next time.

OvErLoAd!!

Summer anyone?!! So this is Scotlyn's bikini!! HA! We are going to Vegas in a month with the Fronk's so I thought she would need a little suit! I think she will need more than one so if anyone knows of a place that has cute little suits for 6months, let me know. It's been hard for me to find one that is small enough.

Happy Birthday Daddy! This was a month ago, but it still needs to be said. Happy birthday love. We love you. Thank you so much for all you do for us. You work so hard and then you come home and take care of us. I love you so much.. I also wanted to make an announcement to everyone... drum roll pleas... Scott is now the HEAD FOOTBALL COACH at North Ogden Jr. High!! YAY! Congrats babe:)

Scotlyn's blessing day. It was so wonderful. Scott gave her the most beautiful blessing. Thanks to all of you who came to share our special day. During the blessing my FIL and BIL looked at her and she was just grinning. I'm sure there were angels there!!Grandma and Grandpa Toyn
She was crackin up!
The day started out pouring rain.We had planned on having the lunch outside in our newly done yard. But it had rained all weekend, so we set up at my mom's just in case. But we looked outside and it was clearing up. It didn't rain for the 3 hours we needed. It started back up as soon as we started taking it all down. Thank goodness!

This picture was taken for my mom for mothers day. It's of all the grandkids. Isn't it so flippin cute? I just have to give a shout out to the beautiful KELLIE HALES. She is FABULOUS! She was so good with all the kids.
This is all the sisters. They are my best friends! We were crackin up the whole time. You can't tell that I'm related to the one next to me can you? I didn't think so!!

These are just some fun pictures of Scotlyn playing. We are having so much fun.
She LAUGHED the other day for the first time! It was so exciting. She wouldn't do it again for days, but she is getting there. I woke up to her giggle this morning. Is there anything better then that alarm clock?? I just have to say my new favorite saying.. TOO MUCH OF A GOOD THING IS WONDERFUL. This has rang true since the day I had her.

Now these are a long time coming! These pictures were taken when she was about 3 weeks old. Once again the amazing Kellie Hales. We have more scheduled so prepare yourselves!! Go see her wonderful work

Happy Easter!

I hope all of you had a fabulous Easter. We had a busy fun filled weekend. (Jill-- I am updating, so you have to too!!) A lot has been going on. Scott has had the weekend off for spring break so we have tried to do all of the yard work and cleaning with him home, but of course it rained.. and SNOWED! What the? We did get some of the flower gardens done, but nowhere near where we wanted it to be. :(
So this is what they did instead!!

So last time I told you that I was sick, and of course I got Scotlyn sick too. She had a pretty bad cold for a few days. So my dad went to the hospital and got me the most fabulous machine. I know some of you know what I am talking about, the one you suck out all the gunk out of their nose. It is a million times better than the bulb thing. Well I thought she was pretty much over it, but she just hasn't been able to kick it. So the other day she woke up and she could barely open her poor eye. So this machine, I like to call it the gunk-b-goner- Is my new best friend!! She is still pretty congested but getting better I think. We went to the doc for her 2 month visit-- She is 95% in her height and her weight! She is a chunk! I am having so much fun being a mom, there is nothing better!

So for Easter I got her a little bunny outfit. I couldn't resist(which is why I went back to work, I have no will power to say no the cute clothes... I'm so gonna be broke!!). My MIL got her the bunny boots for a shower gift and I loved them, so I went to the website.. bad idea! This is the outcome!! I love it! We play dress up pretty much everyday.

I know this is a long post allready, but I have to tell this story. Anyone who knows me, knows that Scotlyn does not leave the house with out a bow. So we had our first outing to Wal-Mart the other day. I never want to go back-- I forgot about the caliber of people who are there!! So I had this random man come up to me in the credit union and tell me that my baby did not need to be wearing a bow. I looked at him like- What's it to you random weird guy? He proceeded to take of Scotlyns head band.. WHAT?!?! Why? THEN he wrapped his hands around my head and started squeezing and said- How do you like it? I could not believe what just happened. I just want to remind everyone that I have never seen this man in my life. Why? WHy? So conclusion- DON'T GO TO WAL_MART with baby in tow! weirdo's!

Happpy with bow...

Without bow...

So today Sian (Scott's sis) and Aaron blessed their baby Easton. It was wonderful. Aaron did such a great job. But right before he was going to be blessed, he had an explosion. I was already in the b-room changing Scotlyn so we tag teamed changing him, cuz while we were in there they called him up to be blessed. So Aaron had to walk up there empty handed and tell them that he was being changed and move on to the next blessing! It was pretty funny. After Easton's we went up to g-ma Toyn's. This picture is how the night ended. My cousin Michelle was leaving and trying to get the Easter baskets out of her kids hands, she looked away for two seconds and this was the outcome. Thankfully they were all ok. I just hope she will be able to laugh about it soon, cuz we all did! Sorry Michelle!!

It's what I am...

A big fat blog slacker! I don't know what my deal is. It's not like I am not taking any pictures. Fair warning, picture overload!
So the latest with us... Scott started school AGAIN! He is going back to get his masters. We were just starting to get into the swing of things.
We had a few play dates with cousins and new bff's!! Sad to say I had to go back to work last monday.:( I am way bummed about the whole situation. I really love what I do, but nothing compares to being a mommy. I love seeing all of her changes that she makes everyday. She is at the stage where she gets all excited when she hears me or Scott's voice. She smiles and kicks her arms and legs. A huge mile stone happened last week.. she slept through the night!! I am so excited! She is now 7 weeks old, I can't believe how fast it has gone by. Last time we went to the doc, she was in the 95th% in her height and 75% in her weight. This last week she has been in 3-6 month clothes. She is getting so big!
That brings us to today. I am sick! I have a way bad head cold. I had to reschedule my appointments for the day and ask my mom to babysit me and Scotlyn!! Hopefully I will be better by tomorrow, and I really hope that she doesn't get it. Any ideas on how I can prevent that?

This is Scotlyn and Easton, yeah that is my chunk on the left! This is Easton, Harper and Scotlyn in their matching halloween onesies. Harper is loving it. She just wanted to love on(grab) the babies! Notice she had Eastons hand and Scotlyn's leg, she's in heaven!

This is her classic " what you lookin at?"
This was her first play date with her new bestie Joey. (Bethel's baby) They are only 6 months apart, but at this age it seems like a huge difference.
This is my FAVORITE picture. She LOVES her daddy!!

She is so going to know what to do when a camera comes out! For now she just looks at me like I am crazy!

These next couple are us just playin around...

I will update again soon, there are more way cute pictures. She had some fabulous pictures taken. So when I have the energy to walk in the other room and get the disc, you will be the first to see!

So not much has been going on. Since it is rsv season we don't even get out of the house. So we were sick of being lonely, so we had Easton come over to play. There was a very short window of time to take pictures, but we did get some cute ones. Can you tell they are cousins? I think he looks exactly like his daddy Aaron. But I don't know who Scotlyn looks like more.. Me or Scott.. who do you think?

This is getting out of the bath. My aunt Irene makes the cutest hooded duck towels. This is Scotlyn at 2 weeks. We went to the doc and she had gained another 11 oz. in a week. So apparently I have cream for milk! So she is in the 75th % in her height and 75th % in her weight as well. She is starting to grow out of stuff way fast. Which is really sad cuz she has some way cute newborn outfits. But she has more clothes than I do, so now we just get to play dress up with the next batch of clothes!

I hope everybody had a fabulous weekend!

So we have been having so much fun with our new little Scotlyn. I have LOVED staying home with her.I wouldn't change it for the world. She is changing so much everyday.Last week we went to the doc for her 1 week app. She had gained 8 oz. in the 4 days that she had been home! She is gonna be a chunk! She was in the 50th percentile in her weight and 90th in her height. We go back for her 2 week on Tuesday so we'll see if she is still growin like a weed.

I wanna hold your hand...This is Scotlyn's little finger grasping to her daddy's giant finger. She actually has way big hands and feet, she definitly gets that from Scott. Best buddies. So Moo just loves Scotlyn. If she is asleep in her crib he will go up to it and cry for her to wake up. He is a weird dog!

This is her in the bath.. this picture makes me laugh, it doesn't look like it here, but she really like her bath time.

This picture was taken at my favorite time of day. Right after she eats in the morning. She stays awake for a good couple of hours with us. She is so awake and alert, it's my favorite time to hang out.

She is crackin up at something in this picture, I can't wait for when she really does start to laugh.

Cousins... This is Henry bug. He thought she was pretty cool, he just wanted to touch her the whole time.

This is another cousin, Easton. He was born 3 weeks before her. What a difference 3 weeks make.

This picture is proof of how huge her feet are!! They look like they are half of her body!
Hope you enjoy all the pictures. We can't seem to put the camera down, so their will be many more to come.

Too Much Of A Good Thing Is Wonderful

Before---

So my life has now officially changed. It is wonderful. My sister always told me when you have a baby you never knew that you could love someone so much. What a wise older sister, cuz she is so right. She may not be right about alot of things, but this she is dead on!:) I never knew that I could love someone so much ...

After!---
So labor was very long, but not bad. After they gave me the epidural I was on cloud 9! I had not been that relaxed or comfortable in months. I was livin it up!! Once I started pushing with the doc I pushed 7 times and she was here. -- before that the nurses wanted to take me c-section because they didn't think she was gonna come with just pushing and she had the cord wrapped around her neck. As soon as the doc came she told me they were dumb and we could push as planned. So that was good.. not good when the epidural wore off! I thought I was gonna die! How do people go natural? They are way tougher than me. Once that was taken care of we were good.

This is Taush putting make-up on me right before pushing. We are nerds!

Our new family.
Proud new daddy!
We have been having so much fun with our new little addition. She is such a good little baby. Thankfully she is great eater. She took right to it, that doesn't mean it still doesn't hurt like the dickens! Sadly right now she is all cooped up under the Bili Lights. She has had to be under the lights now for more than 24 hours. It's not that fun.. any of you know that have had jaundice babies. But she actually seems to enjoy her little tanning bed. So I guess it's not that bad.

Both grandpa's looking after their new little girl.
This is her going home outfit that Scott went and got for her.

I just have say that I have never been so happy, or weepy, or tired in all of my life. I am so thankful for my little lady.
