Set your DVR Monday!!

Just a few pics of Scotlyn in her Christmas dress...

Ok so first things first. WATCH TV ON MONDAY DECEMBER 21ST, STUDIO 5- CHANNEL 5 AT 11:00 AM. My mom and sis are going to be on for their fabulous decorating business called Sassy Style. Tausha will be giving 5 tips on how to "SASS" up your decor. They went and recorded them doing an actual house, but the day before the shoot my mom was watching Scotlyn and fell on one of her toys. She pulled a muscle in her leg pretty bad. So the next day when they were doing the house she couldn't move any furniture so I said that I would offer my services. So long story- sorry- I will also be on TV just for the house shots. I really didn't want to do it- being in the ugly pregnant stage and all , but being the good sister and daughter that I am, I did it. So if you are not going to be home set your DVR for it.

Also I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I hope you and your families are safe and happy.

So it has been a while, and we have been busy! Scotlyn is already 10 months. She is so stinkin fun. When we went to the doc last time he pretty much told us that she is huge!!
She is in the 90th % in her height
75% in her weight
70% in her head.
She has done so many fun things lately. Last month she took her first steps on her own, she started crawling and hated it. She would crawl and cry. Towards the middle of the month she started to love it. So now she is everywhere.
Her new thing is to put a phone or the remote to her ear and say, Hi Dad!
She says dog, and the other day she said Elmo. But notice, she doesn't say Momma! Lovely...

A couple weeks ago, our house got the dang swine! We had to take Scotlyn to the hospital in the middle of the night. She had a way high fever and her heart rate was too high. It was kinda scary, first time to the er, no fun. But she bounced back pretty fast. Then on Thanksgiving , I got it. LAME! At least we are over it.
Oh and on the same weekend she was sick, she also cut her first tooth!!

The pregnancy is going really well. I feel awesome. We went to the doc last week and we could have found our boy or girl but since I love Scott that much, we didn't. I am finally coming around to being excited about not finding out. I don't think I let my body realize what it's like to not be pregnant, I think I look like I am 6 months rather than 4. I feel huge already, not a good sign!!!

We are getting so excited for Christmas. I hope you are all more ready than I am!!
Just an update with pictures...
She loves papa!
I took this picture because it is HEELARIOUS!! She has zebra high heels on. Seriously so funny. She found these and brought them to me, I laughed the whole time.

This is her speedcrawling!!
FIRST PONYTAIL!!!

Happy Halloween BOO!!

So we had a really fun Halloween. We just played all day and then went and visited the grandparents. I love to see everybodies costumes, little Easton was so stinkin cute. I love that him and Scotlyn are the same age, it makes things really fun. Here are the pics from the night. A Pink Poodle and a Frog Prince!
The costume was a bit small up top, this is when Scott tried to button it all the way up!!

I'm sorry about the picture quality, I think we need a new camera!
So to answer some questions.
I am 11 weeks along, so I am due at the end of May. I have been feeling really good. Just way tired, but that comes with the territory.
Yes, we did plan it. I know,I know, we are crazy. We just didn't think it would happen so fast. Apparently we are supposed to have a baby!!!!
So that means that Scotlyn and the new baby are going to be almost 16 months apart! Yes I know, we are crazy.
We aren't going to find out what the sex of the baby is. This is all Scott's idea. He didn't want to find out with Scotlyn so I told him that we wouldn't with the next one, just so he would stop asking!!!! Well he didn't forget that I said that. So we'll see if I can do it.
We are really excited about our new little addition to our family. Thanks for all of the congrats.. we really appreciate it.

Halloween Party...

We had the annual Workman Halloween party last weekend. As always we had a great time. All the kids had the cutest costumes. This is most of the kids, I couldn't fit them all in one picture.

This is my cousin Spencer and Katrina's new bundle of joy, Kaloni. She is a hotdog. I wish I would have gotten a pic of all of them together, because Spence was ketchup and Katrina was mustard. I loved it!!

This is my lovely Sis In law Aly. Scotlyn absolutely loves her. Here they are reading a book.

I didn't get a really good pic of Scotlyn, but I just want you to look closely at her shirt... Yes it says BIG SISTER. Just wanted to let you know!!!

Just an update...

So nothing too exciting.
I am loving being home with Scotlyn more, every day is a new adventure. She is not crawling yet, up until last week she didn't want anything to do with it. She hated being on her belly. Now she'll scoot backward and she thinks she's pretty cool!! She loves to walk around holding your fingers, the other night Scott had her hold on to a toy that rolls, and she took off walking by herself. She needs something to hold on to, but I am afraid she is just going to take off one day.

A couple of weeks ago I got called to be the Young Women's 2nd Counselor. I am way excited and am loving it so far. The reason I bring this up is I know some of you out there have some fabulous ideas for activities that I need to know about!!! I have the beehives, and I think they are wonderful. I was a little nervous at first, but I think it is going to be good.

now these are just a few random pictures of Scotlyn.

Last night we went to Gardner Village to see the witches. It was way fun, Scotlyn thought they were pretty funny. It was cold, so we didn't stay too long. After that we went to dinner. Scotlyn loves sitting in high chair. She can entertain herself for days! Here's some pictures of our night.

Oh and on a side note... If any of you have any extra room in your prayers there is a family who could use it.. These wonderful people just had a beautiful baby boy. They have 3 gorgeous girls and finally had their boy. He was born Thursday and later found out that he had a heart problem and had to rush him to Primary Children's. Their bishop started a blog for him that you can find here... Just keep them in your prayers. I don't know what I would do if I were in their shoes.. So all I can think of to do is pray.http://www.teaganstewart.blogspot.com/

See You Sweet Summer...

So summer is over... We will miss you.
Until next time, let the FOOTBALL begin!!
As I have mentioned before Scott is the head football coach at North Ogden Jr. High. So that is life now. I love going to watch the games. I will keep you updated on our winnings... Not that any of you really care, but it definitely controls how my weekend goes!:)

She needed her shades for the game!

On Saturday we went and hiked Ben Lamond Peak. It was gorgeous. We started walking and I looked at Scott and said, Why don't I hike? It is so beautiful out here. Then I remembered... I hate going up!!! I am not a hiker! Don't ask me why ,but we decided that we would take Scotlyn with us in a pack. Worked out great at first, about half hour to hour into it she was not having it! So we took her out and walked with her for a minute, then she did this. Fell asleep!! Poor thing, we'll never do that again.

Mom Dad Ryan Kal Hannah McKinli Scott Scotlyn and me.

7 MONTHS!

Keith Urban BabeeE!!

I think he is fabulous. We had so much fun. Girls night out with mom and Taush.

Doesn't my mom look so stinkin cute in this pic?

TWINS?

So I took these pics so you could see how flippin huge this zucchini is!! Almost as big as Scotlyn...

So on Labor Day, we re-did the kitchen. I love it. I don't want to show it til it is completely done. All we need is crown molding. so that is coming soon.
Also - Who is excited for THE OFFICE?!!! And COMMUNITY? I AM!!!!
Oh and a couple weeks ago Scotlyn started waving. It was definitely a proud mommy moment! I got it on video , so I just got to get to load on the computer.

She loves little kids, learning and playing.

This past week we had our nieces and nephew at our house. So yes, we had 5 kids!! We had so much fun swimming and picking snacks out of the garden. These kids LOVE the veggies. Harper who is 1 just ate a zucchini raw! This is Porter passed out after too much fun!

On Saturday I did a 1/2 MARATHON!! Holy crap I about died! My mom's ward put it on, so it was in North Ogden. The whole route was up and down. NOT easy! I definitely should have trained more!Oh well, I finished and that was really the goal, not time!!What PERFECT weather for a run. TMI WARNING!... I felt like my uterus was going to fall out!! Boy did it hurt. Way bad cramping toward the end. Now I just need to keep training so that I can do the Ogden 1/2. These pics are no super cute! What do you expect I just got done putting my body through 13.1 miles!!

Last week we went to the zoo. We went with Luke, Brenda and Dirk. Dirk told his grandma that he was going on a date with Scotlyn to the zoo!! Soo cute.. thanks so much guys we had so much fun. Scotlyn loved it. She especially loved the monkey's.. they were the only ones that stuck out to her, well and the bear, but he didn't do anything!

Scott looks really creepy... but I thought it was hilarious!

Waiting in line for the train.

She is soo big!!
After the marathon Me and Scott took Scoti up to my moms and went off to Park City for the night. It was so nice to have a last hooray before he goes back to school. We had so much fun. I didn't know how I would do leaving Scoti for the first time over night, but I did good. I think because I was soo exhausted I fell asleep early and fast! I hope everybody is living it up before the summer is over!:)
