Our life in pictures....

So I never posted Scotlyn's one year pictures. They were alot of fun to do. We did some of her in a North Ogden Jr. football jersey. I gave Scott a few of these pics in a frame for his birthday. I put 2 football pics and her hand and foot prints. He loved it and put it in his office at work. I love how these pics really show off her personality.

And this is poor Scotti today, she is not feeling good. She has had a fever since Saturday. I feel so bad for her.
And this is my Miss Molli...
2 and a half weeks..

I think this pic is hilarious!! I don't know what she was doing, but I laugh out loud when I see it!

At the hospital with my girls.

The uncomfortable hospital chairs/beds. Poor dads that have to sleep in these.

MY GOLLI MISS MOLLI!!!
Molli ... 7 lb. 9 oz. 19 in.

Labor went great. When my water broke Friday morning, Scott was just getting ready to walk out the door to work. I ran in the kitchen and said, I think my water just broke-either that or I just peed my pants! Either way we have a problem! I wasn't totally sure if my water broke so I told him to go to work. I was supposed to have a really busy day at work so I didn't want to go to the hospital and have them send me home when I could have just gone to work, so I called and they told me to come up. So I called Scott and told him I was just going to go up and check, and as I was saying that, I was FOR SURE my water broke. So I stopped mid-sentence and told him to come home. I got ready, packed the bag and was kinda taking my time. Scott came home and was really antsy, he was nervous we weren't going to make it to the hospital with how slow I was going. Pretty sure he was going off of every movie we have ever seen when you have to rush to the hospital!
So we dropped Scotlyn off at his parents and we were off to the hospital. It hadn't really sunk in yet that I was going to have another baby THAt day! We got to the hospital and went to triage, where we had the funnest lady checkin me in. I had the best staff all day. They were so fantastic! Anyway, we got into the room at about 10:30.I was at a 3. They started me on pit and soon enough my contractions were comin. So I choose to feel as little pain as possible and got my epidural at 11:30/12:00ish.Then I was at a 5. I sat at a 5 for about an hour.My doc was going out of town that day, so we were trying to make it before she got on her plane. But we missed her by 20 minutes!!! LAME! Just when my epidural was good and effective I told Scott I wanted to take a nap before I had to start pushing. Just then the nurse came in and put the oxygen on me cuz the baby wasn't doing so good. She started moving me from side to side but nothing was really relaxing the baby, so she checked me just in case. Sure enough I was ready to start pushing. I went from a 6 to a 10 in about 30 minutes. I pushed through 3 contractions and Molli was here. 2:43 pm.Scott was the one who got to tell me that she was a girl. That was so exciting. I had a feeling it was a girl the whole time, so it wasn't too surprising. Now I am going to share TMI... so if you don't want to read just scroll down and look at the rest of the pictures. After she came out, traditionally the afterbirth is no big deal and just comes out with a push, but mine was not coming. It took a good 20-30 minutes to get that part done. I asked if that was normal and they told me that it very rarely happens. I wasn't too worried about it until the doc looked a bit worried and started scrapeing it out. I know that sounds horrible, but that is what happened! Luckily I didn't hemorrhage. The nurse said when that happens the mom usually is bleeding profusely, and with in 4 minutes a mom can hemorrhage and die. Crazy. I'm glad the doc and nurse kept cool and collected or I think I would have been freaking out.
Sorry, you can start reading again now....
