A big fat blog slacker! I don't know what my deal is. It's not like I am not taking any pictures. Fair warning, picture overload!
So the latest with us... Scott started school AGAIN! He is going back to get his masters. We were just starting to get into the swing of things.
We had a few play dates with cousins and new bff's!! Sad to say I had to go back to work last monday.:( I am way bummed about the whole situation. I really love what I do, but nothing compares to being a mommy. I love seeing all of her changes that she makes everyday. She is at the stage where she gets all excited when she hears me or Scott's voice. She smiles and kicks her arms and legs. A huge mile stone happened last week.. she slept through the night!! I am so excited! She is now 7 weeks old, I can't believe how fast it has gone by. Last time we went to the doc, she was in the 95th% in her height and 75% in her weight. This last week she has been in 3-6 month clothes. She is getting so big!
That brings us to today. I am sick! I have a way bad head cold. I had to reschedule my appointments for the day and ask my mom to babysit me and Scotlyn!! Hopefully I will be better by tomorrow, and I really hope that she doesn't get it. Any ideas on how I can prevent that?

This was her first play date with her new bestie Joey. (Bethel's baby) They are only 6 months apart, but at this age it seems like a huge difference.

Good luck with the going back to school thing! Ross started his Masters too and even though he watches his classes online and what not - it still is kinda weird. Scotlyn is getting so big. I love all her outfits and smiles - what a doll. Congrats on her sleeping through the night too - what a glorious day it is!

I love all the pictures you've taken so far. Its crazy that she is already 7 weeks old! She is such a little doll!! I love that picture of the Scotty's as well- Its super cute!!
She is so cute! They are so much fun! I am sure that is hard going back to work. Keep the pictures coming!
I am so jealous she slept through the night!! Kolt is 6 months and still hasn't reached that milestone! we still need to get together, so let me know when you can!
Cute baby alert! Holy cuteness! Scotlyn is adorable haha it's cute how she doesn't know what to do with the camera yet. Joey will teach her though :) She is all smiles in that pic.
Oh my gosh Shawni she is SO cute, congrats on her by the way. Make sure you take it all in because it goes by so fast. Before you know it she will be 3 like my little one. Where does the time go?? It's been a long time I hope all is well with you.

Oh my gosh she is so freakin cute... So funny story... I was at my moms house last weekend and for some reason started talking about baby names... My little bro said I know the best name ever and we all asked him what it was and he said Scottlyn... I had never heard of it besides your cute little one.. So I asked him where he thought of it.. He said well my teacher has a daughter name that... Funny huh? He is in one of your husbands classes.. small world.. anyway thought it was funny!!
All I can say is CUTE! What's that? You're going back to work?? YIPEEE!
She is so cute. Sorry you're sick! That sucks. I know how that is I have been sick for like 3 months strait! The best way for your baby not to get sick is to nurse. Your milk has natural antibiotics formulated perfectly for her. I totally feel for you about going back to work, I cried when I had to go back with Benjamin. I think it will be easier with this one.

Shawni I can't believe that she is that old! We have to get together soon, seriously. Or I should just stop slacking and just come over sometime. She's absolutely adorable though!!

She is sooo cute! I hated going back to work! If you are nursing, I have heard that your antibodies that are getting your body better transfer to her and that really helps, if not, Syd didn't nurse all that well, and she never got sick. Morgan nurses perfectly and she has been sick like 4 times. They live. One of these days we will have to get together!
I can't get over how stinking cute she is! I fell in love with her instantly! I can't wait to see ya again on Wednesday! Love ya
