See You Sweet Summer...

So summer is over... We will miss you.
Until next time, let the FOOTBALL begin!!
As I have mentioned before Scott is the head football coach at North Ogden Jr. High. So that is life now. I love going to watch the games. I will keep you updated on our winnings... Not that any of you really care, but it definitely controls how my weekend goes!:)

She needed her shades for the game!

On Saturday we went and hiked Ben Lamond Peak. It was gorgeous. We started walking and I looked at Scott and said, Why don't I hike? It is so beautiful out here. Then I remembered... I hate going up!!! I am not a hiker! Don't ask me why ,but we decided that we would take Scotlyn with us in a pack. Worked out great at first, about half hour to hour into it she was not having it! So we took her out and walked with her for a minute, then she did this. Fell asleep!! Poor thing, we'll never do that again.

Mom Dad Ryan Kal Hannah McKinli Scott Scotlyn and me.

7 MONTHS!

Keith Urban BabeeE!!

I think he is fabulous. We had so much fun. Girls night out with mom and Taush.

Doesn't my mom look so stinkin cute in this pic?

TWINS?

So I took these pics so you could see how flippin huge this zucchini is!! Almost as big as Scotlyn...

So on Labor Day, we re-did the kitchen. I love it. I don't want to show it til it is completely done. All we need is crown molding. so that is coming soon.
Also - Who is excited for THE OFFICE?!!! And COMMUNITY? I AM!!!!
Oh and a couple weeks ago Scotlyn started waving. It was definitely a proud mommy moment! I got it on video , so I just got to get to load on the computer.

Head.. 40 cm........60%

At her 6 month check up.

She can now:

Sit up

Cruise around in her walker

Stand up holding on to things... Favorite, the dishwasher!

She loves to smile and laugh

Talks talks talks

She gets really excited to see people she knows, she will reach and dive into your arms.

She loves little kids, learning and playing.

This past week we had our nieces and nephew at our house. So yes, we had 5 kids!! We had so much fun swimming and picking snacks out of the garden. These kids LOVE the veggies. Harper who is 1 just ate a zucchini raw! This is Porter passed out after too much fun!

On Saturday I did a 1/2 MARATHON!! Holy crap I about died! My mom's ward put it on, so it was in North Ogden. The whole route was up and down. NOT easy! I definitely should have trained more!Oh well, I finished and that was really the goal, not time!!What PERFECT weather for a run. TMI WARNING!... I felt like my uterus was going to fall out!! Boy did it hurt. Way bad cramping toward the end. Now I just need to keep training so that I can do the Ogden 1/2. These pics are no super cute! What do you expect I just got done putting my body through 13.1 miles!!

Last week we went to the zoo. We went with Luke, Brenda and Dirk. Dirk told his grandma that he was going on a date with Scotlyn to the zoo!! Soo cute.. thanks so much guys we had so much fun. Scotlyn loved it. She especially loved the monkey's.. they were the only ones that stuck out to her, well and the bear, but he didn't do anything!

Scott looks really creepy... but I thought it was hilarious!

Waiting in line for the train.

She is soo big!!
After the marathon Me and Scott took Scoti up to my moms and went off to Park City for the night. It was so nice to have a last hooray before he goes back to school. We had so much fun. I didn't know how I would do leaving Scoti for the first time over night, but I did good. I think because I was soo exhausted I fell asleep early and fast! I hope everybody is living it up before the summer is over!:)

A very busy July. We have been having so much fun. I am not going to bore you too much by talking all about it, just fun pictures!

This is Scotlyn watching fireworks for the first time. She has always been asleep while they were going off, she loved it!

She is sitting up on her own!! Wow, I can't believe she is soo big,she still face plants every once in a while, but for the most part she is doing pretty good. She totally face planted today in Relief Society... not good!
This is Scoti watching the parade.. a Toyn tradition. We go with all of my "mom's" and their kids, always a good time complete with of course, doughnuts and chocolate milk.

This is me and mom and KENNY CHESNEY!! It was awesome, so much fun. He always puts on a good show. I wish we were a little closer, but that's ok. The people watching was fabulous!

I lucked out with tickets, my Sis in Law's sister Angela called me and said that they had extra tickets if I wanted them... Of course I did!!
Thanks so much Rob, Ang, and Mel, I had a great time... Love ya!
Melany, Me, Angela

This is Miss Scoti and Mr. E. They love eachother!!

Scoti in her walker, she loves the freedom of moving around. She cruises all over the house. She hates tummy time, and all I have in my house is hard wood, so she can't move on the blanket that I lay down for her so she doesn't really have the opportunity to move around and crawl, so she loves the walker.

THE OQUIRRH MOUNTAIN TEMPLE
All the Toyn's went to the temple together(minus Ry and Hailey and Henry... We missed you). We had such a good time. It was beautiful. I absolutely love the spirit in the temple, there is truly nothing like it. Scoti fell asleep for most of it, but she woke up while we were in the sealing room, she opened her eyes, looked around and got the biggest grin on her face. A cute lady that was in the room with us, leaned over and said "She has been here before you know.. She was here with you" mind you I didn't know this lady, but how sweet. It really puts things in perspective for me. I really need to go the temple more, We are so blessed to have so many temples so close.

All the grandkids minus Henry.
Kinli, Graci, Scoti, Hannah and Cooper.

My mama and pops. I am so blessed that they made the decision to be married in the temple. They have been such great examples. My mom is such a spiritual powerhouse. She has taught me so much about love, being a mom and being faithful. My dad has taught me about work and so much about life.. I love you guys so much.

My Scotti's!!

This is Joey and Scoti.. We had a bbq a couple weeks ago and they got to hang out. Thanks for coming everyone, we missed you Kar. See you all next month!
Sorry for such a long post. I have family pictures that we got done by Kellie, but my computer is having a hard time downloading them , so next time!

Let Freedom Ring!!

So our 4th was way fun. In the morning we went to the Cherry Days Parade. My mom and sis have a little business called Sassy Style. They go into people's houses and decorate with either the stuff you already have, they just show you how to do it, or they will go shop for you and design your room/house. They are really good. They are both so creative. They were in the parade as you can see this is it... So I went and watched most of the parade until they got to where I was sitting and I jumped on with them.It was way fun, we threw out candy and danced to good ol' Michael Jackson. Who wouldn't have a good time?
This is Aly, Melissa, Scotlyn and Me. Waiting for the Sassy jeep to come!

After Cherry Days we went to the Fronks and played. This is of Michael, he decided he would start a water fight with the big boys... not smart. They came aroundthe corner and got him with flour... Hilarious!!
Every 4th my mother and father in law make Souvlaki(I have no idea if that is how you spell it.)It is so dang good.

After that we went to the fireworks at Weber High. We went up pretty early and met up with the Toyn side and played games, ate junk and chatted.
Right before the fireworks started Scotlyn fell asleep,so when they started I asked Scott to cover her little ears, but she didn't even flinch, she was OUT! She is such a good little lady!

This is after the fireworks, we were trying to get a picture but we got this instead.

Hope everyone enjoyed their 4th.********
